Hi my name is Ben, founder of The Fitness Masters.

I am ex-military, a coach, massage therapist and expert in understanding the human body, I have the experience to help you achieve a higher standard in either your sport or general health and fitness. I have
worked with local and national athletes in various sports including golf, skiing, surfing, Jujitsu and kitesurfing.

As a CrossFit athlete, kitesurfer, weightlifter and massage therapist, I understand what it takes to perform, live and prepare as an athlete.


I specialise in movement technique, improving mobility and significantly decreasing the chance of injury so that you can confidently achieve your goals without delay. I will teach you various techniques to look after yourself and feel confident in the gym. If you need more help with recovery, then you can try out my own style of massage (the best in the world some might say!) which is designed to increase range of motion and relax muscles, thus not only aiding recovery but preparing you for your next training session in even better condition.

​MOTIVATION & MINDSET COACHING

Before we start anything we need to get your mindset in the right space. 
Private coaching sessions at the start of your programme and throughout your time with us will ensure that your mindset remains positive and focused. 

POSTURE ASSESSMENT

How do you stand? How do you sit? 
Do you dominate one side of your body?
Are imbalances which contribute to your pain? Our experts will assess your situation and provide you with the proper corrective exercises.

MOVEMENT ASSESSMENT

Are you moving well?
The majority of injuries or niggles we see are caused by poor movement.
It could be in your sport, running or gym practice, or it could be in your job. ​

STRENGTH & MOBILITY SESSIONS

There will be some work to do to correct any imbalances or overcome mobility or strength issues you may have.
Your programme will be tailored to you and remote video analysis will make sure that you are completing the movements safely.

DAILY MOBILITY PRACTICES

There are no quick fixes for improving strength and mobility
You will need to do some daily practice.
These little practices might seem insignificant but they will add up overtime and make a huge difference to your recovery and general wellbeing! ​

REMOTE COACHING

​Gym based coaching is available, if you are not comfortable in the gym you can complete this programme remotely.
There will be regular check ins with your coach to ensure that you stay on top of your programme and daily practices.
